- 6/14/08 ~ FGCU Team Camp underway and in full swing with local powers Fort Myers and Bishop Verot both reaching the top tourney bracket. - 5/4/08 - Baker High wins local USSSA High Hoops Tournament in the 19-Under second division
- 4/20/08 - Naples Finest wins pool but loses in a hard fought contest to Chris Paul All-Stars in tourney play at DC Hoopfest over the weekend with Mike Liabo leading the way and catching the attention of some D1 colleges.
